A reflexive camera is composed of a camera body, lens, one (or two) mirror(s), a prism and a viewfinder; all f which allows the photographer to see exactly what (s)he is capturing. There are different types of reflexive cameras, like SLRs (Single-Lens Reflex) and DSLRs (Digital Single-Lens Reflex), even cameras with multiple mirrors. A DSLR has sensors which are powerful in picking up light and distinguishing colors, while also adjusting to speed (or other variables). They also allow for users to manipulate the image immediately.
