Justin, Week 2, Photo HW assignment
I wanted to practice my telephoto shots this week as we did in class. So I chose a background with as much depth as there are details, with distinct objects in the foreground. So I stood in the center of the Piazza di Popolo, and took pictures of tourists walking the city. I liked this location because the street had alot of structural detail, there were no stationary objects and it felt like a challenge. The detail of the background, combined with it's depth, made the tourists look small and makes it seem as though there is a story. I like the picture, though I wish I could blur the background just a bit more. I feel like it is a little overexposed on the man's shirt but the darker tones are nice.
