Memory
a memory is an interpretation and a perception of events, people, places, and things that is subjective to each person. You can remember your thoughts, feelings, smells, and images of a particular experience. Although two people may have a memory about the same thing, each person has a different interpretation of it and so they have different memories of it. One of the photos that stand out most to me and that I have a strong memory of is a photo taken of me and my best friend (still is) when we were younger, probably in preschool. My entire family as well as hers routinely sends the two of us this photo about once a year to remember how long we have been friends and how strong our friendship still is. I remember this photo taken right before going to see Beauty and the Beast on broadway and we brought the stuffed animals in the photos with us! I even remember us both going to the bathroom in the theatre and carrying our stuffed animals with us. It is so crazy how a simple photograph of an event can jog your memory and help you to remember everything about what happened when it was taken.
